Open Tower Days
We are excited to announce the open tower climbs for 2026!
The open tower climbs are scheduled for the following dates:
- Sunday, June 7, 2026
- Sunday, July 5, 2026
- Sunday, August 2, 2026
- Sunday, September 6, 2026
- Sunday, October 4, 2026
All tours are from the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The cost for tower climbs is $12 for adults and $6.00 for children (Ages 6-11). Walk ups are welcome, however we recommend that you pre-purchase tickets in advance to make sure that you secure a spot. Pre-purchase tickets can be found on Eventbrite.
If these dates will not work for you consider setting up a private tower climb.
Please note that patrons of any and all climbs are participating at their own risk. Patrons release the Village of Wind Point and Wind Point Lighthouse of any liability in any way relating to any and all injuries or damages as a result or in any way relating to the Wind Point Lighthouse Tower Climbs and tours. Patrons understand the public Tower Climbs and private tours are held in a non-ADA compliant building and may not accommodate all guests.
Private Group Tours
Tower Climbs for private groups can be arranged prior to the request date and are based on availability. Tower climb charge is $15.00 per adult (ages 12 and up) and $8.00 for children (ages 6-11). Tower climbs are not available for children under the age of 6. To inquire about scheduling a private group tour, please submit a message to the Wind Point Lighthouse or contact the Keepers at (262) 639-3777 (text/call).
If you must cancel your private group tour, your fee will be refunded 100% if notification is made at least a month in advance. If notification of cancellation is made less than a month but at least two weeks from the event, the fee will be refunded 50%. If notification of cancellation is made less than two weeks from the tour, the fee is nonrefundable.
Foghorn Gift Shop
The Wind Point Lighthouse is proud to have opened the Foghorn Gift Shop, located in the Foghorn building. The Gift Shop does not have any set hours and is primarily open during the summer months since it relies on volunteers to run it. Visitors can purchase a variety of items in the shop, such as postcards, stickers, tea towels, a garden post hand painted by a local artist, and much more! Park & Beach Area
The Wind Point Lighthouse is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. The park grounds are open 365 days a year, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. The park has picnic tables, benches, outdoor restrooms (seasonally), a beach area and gardens, including a memorial brick garden. The beach area is open for swimming but lifeguards are not present so swimming is at your own risk. There is an outdoor foot washer just outside of the restrooms. The lighthouse grounds can be rented for weddings, parties, corporate events and more. For more information, click here.
